FRANKFURT AM MAIN, HESSE, GERMANY (30 June 2019) – Kroha GmbH has now found a buyer for its company building in the town of Barleben, located in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. As part of the sale-and-leaseback transaction, Kroha GmbH has leased back the building with a triple net contract and a ten-year term. The state-of-the-art production and warehouse building, located in an industrial estate just off the A2 Autobahn, covers a rented floor space of 10,400 m².
FalkenSteg Real Estate was responsible for supporting the M&A process for the property.
The buyer is Deutsche Industrie Reit AG, which sustainably invests in light-industrial properties in Germany. The light-industrial asset class includes properties used for storing, distributing, managing and manufacturing commercial goods, and mainly consists of medium- to large-scale industrial estates. The facilities usually feature more complex equipment than properties purely used for logistics purposes and are of great significance to local communities.
